Minister of Music

In June of 2007, I married Danielle Warbington of Minden, Louisiana.   The Lord blessed us with each other, and has continued to bless us as welcomed our first child in March 2012.  My undergraduate studies took place at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall.  In 2011, I earned a Master’s of Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Feeling a call from God, I began serving as Minister of Worship at Central in June 2011.

When I sit down to watch a movie, I love the film Nacho Libre. When it comes to vacation time, my favorite place to visit would be Hawaii. I love to play golf and tennis, and I also like to hunt and fish in my free time. If I had to pick a favorite dessert, it would definitely be red velvet cake.

My favorite Bible verse is "May the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer."  My highest goal is to serve the Lord with honor and excellence.

My mission is to lead all people into a life-changing relationship with the Lord through music.  The scriptures are full of references about music and the power that it holds.  At Central, we desire to worship God both in Spirit and in Truth, and seek an intimate, personal encounter with Him.
