Coby served as a youth intern at First Baptist Church in Salado, as well as at First Baptist Church of Corsicana. While in Corsicana, he organized and planned all D-Now activities and led a small home group. He was also a member of and officer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at University of Mary Hardin Baylor during his time there.
Coby is a graduate of University of Mary Hardin Baylor (2013), with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a minor in Christian Studies.
Coby married his high school sweetheart on May 25. He and Courtney are excited to start serving full time and have a huge passion for evangelizing and discipling teenagers. He received a call to ministry working alongside Courtney as youth interns for FBC Corsicana in Summer 2011. He always had a desire to work with teenagers in some capacity, but God made it clear during that time that He was calling Coby and Courtney to full time vocational ministry. Coby is a huge sports fan, who likes it all and has played about everything (he even enjoyed playing a few football games in the Tomato Bowl), but soccer has always been his favorite. He and Courtney both enjoy being outdoors doing just about anything. They understand that the teenage years are pivotal in one's Spiritual walk, so they are passionate about being tools in God's hand to deliver the Message to teens from all backgrounds and walks of life. They are excited to join CBC in working together to see Christ's work brought to the lost (Luke 19:10).
